Wisdom such as old stories, nature connection, permaculture, plant medicine; the mothers, the fathers, the grandparents, people like the ones who work with young children and all the teachers of ancient traditions and martial arts, all the people who protect the sacred, sacred balance, working with plants, animals, life. People who make beautiful things of all kinds, and the people who support them! For the people holding it down.

Freedom Lighters was born in a Hearts of Courage series.

“On behalf of the whole team and the universe we give you this heart of courage in honour of your courageous heart. We are so proud of you and we want you to know we appreciate you and encourage you to continue being yourself and to be yourself even more!”

This is what we say when we give a heart out. And we mean it.

The hearts of courage evolved from an ancestral impulse to practice the art of the give-away, along with a desire to honour people for being themselves, and the concept came together during a parade in April 2014 called Occupy Your Heart.
